Cakes are freshly baked to order Every cake is made fresh when you order it. For storage and shelf life guidance, please contact us directly when placing your order.

Someone must be available to receive your delivery Our cakes are perishable and cannot be left unattended. If there's no answer, our driver will call the number provided at checkout.

All cakes are carefully packaged We use sturdy cake boxes to ensure your order arrives perfectly. Tiered and bespoke cakes receive extra protection during transit.

Delivery FAQs

What is the cut-off time for next day delivery?
Orders must be placed before 5pm to qualify for next day delivery. Orders placed after 5pm will be dispatched the following day.

Can I get a cake on the same day?
Yes — we offer same day pickup from all three of our stores in Croydon, Coulsdon and Fulham. Simply visit us in store and choose from our available selection. Please note we do not offer same day delivery.

Do you deliver outside London?
Yes — we deliver to selected postcodes in Surrey, Kent, Essex and Hertfordshire (Zone 4) on a scheduled basis. Contact us to confirm your postcode is covered.

How will I know when my cake is on its way?
You'll receive an order confirmation email when you place your order and a dispatch notification when your cake is on its way. Our delivery team may also call when they are nearby.

Can I specify a delivery time slot?
You can add a time preference in the order notes at checkout. For specific time slots on bespoke or wedding cakes, please contact us via WhatsApp or email so we can arrange this with you.

What if my cake arrives damaged?
Please take a photo immediately and contact us at hello@cakeforest.co.uk or via WhatsApp within 2 hours of delivery. We will do our best to make it right.

How far in advance should I order a bespoke or wedding cake?
Bespoke cakes require a minimum of 5–7 days notice. Wedding cakes should be ordered at least 4–6 weeks in advance. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
